From my experiences recording, an imperfect drum take can actually give a song some life.

When I see guys go crazy about cleanliness and all that, it really does affect the life of the music, the spirit.

This is one of the best drum tracks ever...and it's got some character to it. It's obvious Stewart can play, but not every note is perfect, he's hitting harder sometimes...but damn that energy is awesome!

Sounds like he's playing to a second track he laid down.

I can't dope up my own thread, but I found a MOTHERLOAD of isolated
tracks today! Evidently, many of these come from Guitar Hero where
(this is the conversation) they got the original tracks. I went insane
with Eddie VH guitar isolated tracks especially from the first few Lp's...
