The RH is my favorite 5x14" snare. I never liked any 5" deep snares til I played that drum. Congrats on the new drum.

That silver sparkle is a Ludwig 3 1/2 x 13 from 1957...wood. I paid $20 for it with a fiber case in about 1980. Really sounds good...great for acoustic/"un-plugged" gigs.

I am hoping "Roy" stays nice and sparkly.
