New snare porn
Re: New snare porn
The RH is my favorite 5x14" snare. I never liked any 5" deep snares til I played that drum. Congrats on the new drum.

It looks great now all shiny and new, and it will still look and sound great 50 years from now, when it has darkened up.
Hey, what's that silver sparkle drum, and old Ludwig? I don't recognize the badge.
That silver sparkle is a Ludwig 3 1/2 x 13 from 1957...wood. I paid $20 for it with a fiber case in about 1980. Really sounds good...great for acoustic/"un-plugged" gigs.
I am hoping "Roy" stays nice and sparkly.
