Gene Coye?

Larry Carlton is coming to town with Gene Coye on drums.
I don't know Gene and there's not a lot of his stuff on the net.
He also plays with Esperanza Spalding and seems to be a neo-soul/fat-pocket kinda guy.
Is he worth checking out?

I've seen him on different gigs in LA before and he's a great player. Larry and Esperanza could probably call on a lot of people....
