Hmm, I wonder if it's just the quality of the clips that's keeping some people from perceiving that there's something fairly unique going on here.
If you have it, dig out your August '06 issue of Modern Drummer for a spread on Zach where he gets to put what he's doing into words.
Granted, even if you "understand" what he's doing, his style and music is an aquired taste.
I guess it just felt weird to see some of you writing him off as some out-of-control basement basher.
