Thanks!

It had many great moments, aside from the sound glitches.

Who was the drummer at the 2:00 mark? Good grief!

Just listened to the recordings... It is a crime against my ears to hear Zakir Hussain interact with Vinnie, sans Vinnie in the mix.

How on earth can they deliver such a poor mix when they announce the concert like this >>>

The worldwide programs and events will conclude in New York City at the United Nations General Assembly Hall with an historic sunset concert certain to be one of the most heralded jazz celebrations of all time.

I listened to it for a looooooong 3 minutes.
The sound wasn´t bad. It was awful.

Almost a telephone sound, a bad telephone.

And Morgan Freeman´s event presentation was at the same level.
He pronounced "Colaiuta" 15-20 times, just to learn to pronounce it.

Maybe there it was funny, but on audio/online it wasn´t.

Hopefully the terrible audio was only directed at the feed to the stream. I'm sure they'll put together some sort of highlight video for proper release at some point. But then again, maybe not. It might be too difficult to obtain all the necessary releases or workout all the splits, unless they're all donating their time for the cause.

I played at UN in NYC, some years ago, the sound over there is REALLY hard so... :-(
And it's worse at UN in Paris...

Those place are made for people talking, not playing music, I mean, electric music, I'm sure it must work for classical music though.
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...
