Well after a couple of set backs and of course one major one being my editing PC crapping out I wasn't prepared to build another PC just for video.....

So bought this, let the games and headaches begin.....has 16 gig of ram so should get the job done.

What ever happened to your video-comparo shootout Richie?

Big apologies as yes it should have been completed by now but alas life got in the way. Got married, had our first baby, got made redundant and now selling our house (that's not a bad thing) as we have purchased a block of land and building a new house with a dedicated drum/studio/room for all my gear.

In the meantime I am trying to secure a space to set up my gear and do the comparison ASAP.

Sorry for the delay as being a dad, gigging, teaching and looking for another regular day gig eats up all my time.

Will keep you posted though.

Richie, you're either very rich, or have huge amounts of debt. ;-) I say that because you're a drummer. ;-)

No apology necessary Richie! There is no rush at all. Do it if and when the time permits. You've got your hands full (like most of us). Enjoy your family, and good luck with the move. The Yamaha comparo can wait. Not important at all in the big scheme of things.
