Hi Joe,
The transcription is mine; I was asking how Julian posted the image, as he graciously came to my aid. I'm glad you liked the transcription! I have a lot more (especially of Vinnie), so I hope to share some more of those over time.
Steve
P.S. If anyone (Julian?) could let me know what to post between this [img][img], it would be very helpful to me for the future.

No problem, Steve...
For [img][img] to work, you need to insert a direct link to the image (extension included). If you wanna post pics from your FB page, you need to right-click on the image and then "copy image url"...
Hit the img button (when posting a reply here) and paste that url. Done!

Thanks, Julian! Let's give this a try. here is a Vinnie transcription I did when I was 19 years old. This excerpt is from Vinnie's clinic at Berklee:

I remember picking up Dave's package with cassette tape and charts when it came out in the 80s. It had that tune and a few more. Play along tracks, charts, etc.

Hi Paul,
I had that package as well. I remember making a demo of myself playing to it, and then passing the demo around NAMM in 1990 or 1991. I think it even came with a transcription of the solo he did from the CD? This transcription here is from a different solo--i.e., the one he did at the Modern Drum Festival back in the 80's. I used to tape record clinics on my little Walkman and transcribe stuff. The Vinnie one I just posted is of the opening solo he took at his Berklee clinic--also in the late 80's. The transcription contains what I felt to be the most exciting parts of the solo.

Hi Guys,
A student of mine recently posted a video clip from our lesson in Facebook. In the clip, I am a playing rhumba clave in the left foot, bajon in the right foot, 5 over 2 in the left hand, and 5 over 3 in the right hand. I hope you enjoy!

Thanks for posting this, Beat Hit! Hi guys, it’s been a while! If you check this out, that is superimposed metric modulation at the beginning (not actually the pulse slowing down and speeding up!)
