Excellent playing Jerry, really enjoyed that! Great trio, and she's amazing on piano.

Thanks! Yeah, Kara is super great. Totally swingin’, too! We have a swing tune that we’ll be putting up next week. I’ll update this thread with it. Thx for checking it out!

Much appreciated! I was super happy with the sound and video quality we got. This was thrown together pretty hastily actually, so no compaints!

That's why it's generally cheaper to use pros. They get it right the first time.

Yeah, dude! That was great. Good job all around!
Moderation's all well and good, just don't overdo it.

Here is the swing jam we did. It’s actually the first jazz tune that the piano player’s husband has ever written; he normally writes pop/rock tunes (which are amazing btw). Hope you enjoy!

NICE...love you are venturing into the original compositions of jazz...do not hear this often!
When i see younger players consumed in this genre of old i wonder if you are born with an
older heart? what were you like in middle school? road least traveled from pop...
march on...love of music and the road you decide to travel!
side bar: my old drum teacher in college told me one day, "Joe...I'm done...i cannot play these
pop gigs anymore, i talked to my wife, we just had a new baby and i am playing jazz all the way
wherever that take us..." (that meant managing a small apt building to get free rent in the process
and having his wife work full time...but he was happy!)
