I can't believe the GREAT David Sanborn is gone, so sad, rest in Peace Maestro, thanks so much your beautiful music.
Here some of my favorite :
I discovered that song on a Brandon Fields's bootleg with Vinnie, JJ, Garfield, I think that my lap top says that it's the song the most listened on my iTunes, the original one that I post here, what vibe.

Yeah, I only just found out he passed away on Sunday. 78 years old. Very sad news indeed. R.I.P. I used to listen to that 'Upfront' record a lot. Marcus Miller and Steve Jordan I think.

I'm not sure if it's something I knew but forgot about or wasn't aware of before today, but an interesting little detail is that the very ending of 'Monmouth College Fight' (@ 6:14) from Montreux 1981 with Ricky Lawson and Yellow Jackets, and the ending of 'You're So Square' (@ 4:24) with Vinnie and Joni, are identical. No doubt because of Russell Ferrante.

Sounded like the tune was Cheeseburger in Paradise by Jimmy Buffett.
