Name That Drum Fill

Postby Pocketplayer » Tue Aug 02, 2011 8:17 am

Gotta keep the instrument in the public's eye...kudos for NPR

Part 1

Part 2
http://www.npr.org/blogs/allsongs/2010/11/02/131003679/name-that-drum-fill-ii

Part 3

What was interesting to me surrounded how vastly different the "drum sound" was...
from very organic to very produced and tweaked...all in the name of creating music for the song.

Very cool! Thanks.

I got about 75% of them on first listen. Some are tough!

NPR does have some cool music related programs. Interviews especially.

I got most of 'em too. For extra credit name the drummers they repeated.

If they one had one for fusion I would've totally nailed it.
“Let's try some of my songs.” Dave Grohl, top sign drummer will be fired.
