Yeah, he incorporates a bunch of 5 note groupings, some eighthnote off quarternote triplets , 4 over 3 shits, etc. It's not all a flurry of singles assembled in not so rhythmically complex ways.
Gergo is incredible, but if you just remove the speed, it's not that interesting... He's 100% chop. IMHO that is.

Na I disagree, Gergo is a very musical player, loads of chops agreed but with a good degree of taste, just in this scenario he resorted to speed but check his other videos. Viccaro played done great stuff, the overall duet was very nice.

Gergo has ton of chops indeed, and I think that he's a great story teller.

I found that drum duet very tasty and powerful.
I like it.
The only thing I don´t like, here or in another solos, is the cymbals up and downs, generally in the intros.
