In his latest IHT appearance he says 60K. It's quite funny because he gives an example of a kid who came to study with him and asked him for career advice. He said it was ironic because the kit took out a loan to play music and he can't play music because he has to work to repay the loan. Shit...

I don't think Dave is as self-righteous as it appears. He's a decent guy with some relevant experience in LA. I personally don't care for any of the music he has recorded, but he's done well for himself.
