Next week the new JING CHI album Supremo will be released. Saxophonist Jeff Babko and Trumpeter Mike Haynes are the horn section. From the clips made available, it sounds quite retro in style and feel.... Soul, Blues and Jazz.

Cosmopolitain is now available for download. Regarding Colaiuta's contributions, I especially dig the contrast between the off-kilter patterns on Gnawa Blues, followed by his tight pocket on Canopy. There is the essence of Colaiuta in two successive tracks.
