Well, I totally agree with that!!deseipel wrote:in this case his logic is sound: Yamaha drums sound better than DW. I looked it up.
However ALL endorser's, particularly new ones to the companies say the same thing. Funny I remember talking to some players, and them talking about the BS of having to say "So and So company is the best..." when they use other gear in the studio, put tape over logo's live, etc, etc..
You think Vinnie actually uses his signature snare drums?
Re: Tommy Igoe moves to Yamaha
Sometime he does, yes. He uses lots of different snare drums.YamahaPlayer wrote:You think Vinnie actually uses his signature snare drums?

Funny about that, last week Vinnie did a session for Dominic Miller, with Jimmy Johnson on bass, anyway, Dominic took a picture of Vinnie's snare drum rack, we can see between some Brady, Gretsch and maybe Pork Pie, his Yam' Signature.DSOP wrote:Sometime he does, yes. Coulda been the studio's snare drum selection too, no BB's? He uses those a ton, who wouldn't.Rodge wrote:Funny about that, last week Vinnie did a session for Dominic Miller, with Jimmy Johnson on bass, anyway, Dominic took a picture of Vinnie's snare drum rack, we can see between some Brady, Gretsch and maybe Pork Pie, his Yam' Signature.DSOP wrote:Sometime he does, yes. Never the less, you don't see that crazy gretsch american flag lookin thing flying.... EVER.
Point is, EVERY endorser will say *whatever* their endorsed brand of drums is the best.
