Has any drummer made more money playing the same beat than Phil?
This album bombing sent ol' Phil into a tailspin...rather than realizing he made
millions playing 2 & 4, that ego got the best of him. This is basically an
AC/DC cover at best. Most would have gone a different direction for your
first solo LP.
I went back and listened to songs from the past 7 AC/DC albums...
they all sound basically the same with this basic beat...repeat and rinse
for 30 plus years!

This may be sacrilege to some. But I don't care because I think it sounds cool if I say so myself.
I've chopped, looped and blended Bernard Purdie on Home At Last accompanying Once In a Lifetime and a bit of Rosanna thrown in for good measure. Took a fair bit of messing around with tempo and pitch changes.

This one works well...the Rosanna lyrics are kinda creepy...eerie...
this one is very Hollywood dance club with people who like to smoke
stuff! Unique mash...Talking Head stuff was good enough then the Rosanna
stuff creeps in out of nowhere...slower tempo haunting!

Glad you liked it, Pocket. Here's another I just concocted. It puts the timing of some of the lyrics across the bar in a weird but interesting way I think. I decided to edit some of the guitar solo so as not to cut into the singing.
Jim Hodder on drums right?
