Saw Jonatha Brooke last night. Brought my GF who had never heard her live before, and so now Jonatha has a new fan.
It's incredible, the level of artistic integrity and quality in her songwriting and live performances over 35 years.
I've been a fan for more than 20 years now, and she's a real gem. Here's one of her best, with Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums:
And here's an older one with a great flow and groove:

MIke gets a bad wrap in this part of town. He's plays for the song. Great player. New album (#3) is great as usual. Nice to see bands like this still do well in prog rock market. Hard gig!. Mike is in like 47 bands and that's a good thing.

I dug most of the first record, didn't care much for the second, but I'm digging this one.
That tune has a big Toto vibe to me. I also really dig Love Letter and Crawl- although I must admit, there's sometimes in that tune I just wish they didn't have sections between verses, but overall it's a banger.
Yeah, he gets shit on a bit, but his playing outside of DT was always more musical and felt a bit better in my opinion.

Excellent Luke Int...
Got an email from a buddy who was in Japan working
and is friends with Greg B...he went out after a Ringo
gig and hung with the boys...said Luke was great...
humble, funny, raw and as a TOTO fan gracious to
answering the same questions he's been asked 1000x.
Just a great dude
