The other day whatever algorithm showed me a video of Darby Todd soloing in the most surprisingly funky and impressive way.
I can’t find that clip, and I can’t remember where I saw it. Did any of you see it?

Hey Steve! how bout a new topic of "what you listen to"?
Re: 2025 Chatty!!!
Got a gig in a ZZ Top tribute in Blue Hill Maine last week. Played to tracks with a click, most songs had them. I drilled them pretty hard, and worked on SD/BD coordination at tempo. I figured that if I can at least do that, that would be enough. Jeff Berlin is all against metronomes, for whatever reason. If I didn't use a metronome to practice with, I wouldn't have this gig. I let him know that lol.
No rehearsal as usual, grip it and rip it. Fun gig. Might be getting called for more, things went well. Played with a Garth tribute the weekend previous in Connecticut. Made a few bucks, which is nice.
