That immediately reminded me when I drove to NYC Jan 1-3 to hear Chick Corea and Special NYE Quintet.
Nothing but a sea of red lights in people's laps, hands and even hidden mics on R & L shoulder to see
the most outrageous playing Vinnie has done ! I was a little more discreet but got 6 sets of clean, crisp,
drumming using Vinnie's monitor to produce an adjacent studio recording balance.
